How do non-clinical caregivers help?

A caregiver’s responsibilities depend on the needs of the individual client. For instance, the caregiver may assist the client with making appointments, shopping, meal preparation, bathing and dressing, and light housekeeping. A caretaker also provides medical monitoring, medication reminders, ambulatory assistance, and other essential duties.

How is the care that VIPrivate Care provides supervised?

All care provided to patients by our staff is closely monitored and supervised by a VIP Registered Nurse. Or the DON/Assistant DON.

Do you provide rehabilitative care?

Premier provides in-home skilled nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy and social work in the NYC market.

How much does a home health aide cost per hour?

Will health insurance, Medicare or Medicaid cover the cost of home health care?

We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

Are caregivers insured and bonded and does VIPrivate Care carry liability insurance?

Yes.

Is there a minimum amount of service hours required for Long Term Care?

Yes. Long Term Care is a 12 hr per day shift minimum.

Short Term Care is a 6 hr per day shift minimum.

How does VIPrivate Care stay connected and communicate with a client’s family members who don’t live locally?

A VIPrivate Care manager will be the primary point person to provide reporting status and coordinate and cross-communicate with the client, family, primary care physician, and other ancillary service providers.

Do we offer any supporting services for senior care?

Yes we offer referrals to the best Wealth Management, Estate Planning and Insurances Advisor that cares for the patient and family’s long term and immediate needs.

Do we use HIPAA compliance?

Yes. Our platforms are all HIPAA compliant.

Do we use any Confidentiality?

Yes we mandate confidentiality agreements to both the contracting parties, the patient and the care givers.

Do we Travel with the patient?

Yes. We have a Travel Agreement and all arrangements are based on rate, deposit, travel itinerary, duration of time and all security measures.
