VIPrivate Care provides private, RN-led dementia home care for families in Bergen County, northern New Jersey and New York City. Our caregivers support your loved one with daily routines, safety and companionship at home, with 12-hour or 24-hour care arranged around your family’s needs.
What Dementia Home Care Includes
Caring for someone living with dementia changes from day to day. Our team adapts to your loved one’s routine and needs, which may include:
- Help with bathing, dressing, grooming and meals
- Medication reminders from home health aides, with medications prepared and distributed by registered nurses where the care plan requires it
- Supervision and a safe home environment, including during the night
- Companionship, conversation and familiar daily activities
- Regular updates for family members, including those who live out of state
Care Led by Registered Nurses
Every care plan is overseen by our nursing team, led by Director of Nursing Tiffany Italiano, RN, BSN, CCRN. Depending on your loved one’s needs, the care team can include registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and home health aides. Our New Jersey agency is accredited by CAHC, and VIPrivate Care has provided private in-home care since 2012.
12-Hour and 24-Hour Dementia Care
Some families need support for part of the day; others need someone present around the clock. With 24-hour care, two caregivers rotate 12-hour shifts, so your loved one is never alone, without a live-in arrangement. With 12-hour care, a caregiver covers one daytime or overnight shift.
